Too often, we see only the polished surface of ministry, not the quiet struggles, doubts, and sacrifices behind it. The book, Behind the Pulpit Smile: Untold Stories of Gods Servants, is born out of listening to theologians, pastors, and servants of God whose faithful service is rarely noticed. It seeks to honour their hidden journeys, to tell the truth with compassion, and to remind the Church that grace is not only preached from the pulpit, but also lived out in weakness, perseverance, and hope.

Tonminlen Haokip hails from Saitu Sapormeina, Manipur. He has completed his Bachelor of Divinity from Manipur Theological College and his Master of Theology in Missiology from Gurukul Lutheran Theological College and Research Institute, Chennai. He currently serves as the Registrar of the College and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Missiology at the Indian Theological Seminary, Avadi, Chennai, India.
