This book offers a wide-range of understanding of the formation of the Bible starting from its oral form to the written documents and the process of canonisation; in addition, it also offers sufficient information of each book of the Bible.

Dr. Aravind Jeyakumar Moniraj serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Old Testament Studies at the Gurukul Lutheran Theological College & Research Institute, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and he is a member of the Methodist Church in India (MCI-CRC). Dr. Moniraj earned his doctoral degree (Dr. theol.) from the University of Hamburg, and he has been engaged in the field of theological education since 2005. Earlier he has served at the Indian Theological Seminary, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and at the Leonard Theological College, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
