The book “Development and Change Among Tribal Society in Border Areas: A Geographical Study” explores the implications of Christianity introduction to Manipur as a new beginning and its profound influence on tribal populations. The focus is on how Christianity has impacted the social aspects of the Vaiphei tribes in Manipur State, focusing on the social and political aspects of that change. Previous research on tribes was analyzed as a community at a specific development stage, compared to the traits of "modern" societies. Every administrative, social, economic, and religious endeavor was closely linked to their customary and traditional practices. The book also provides recommendations for enhancing the current state of education, agriculture, and land use in the tribal society.
