Acts 1:8 AMP
“But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”
Christians are united with Christ's death and resurrection by the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, who is a divine Person. A person's original purpose may be restored via the continual processes of regeneration and the Holy Spirit. Belonging to Christ's body produces spiritual fruitfulness, and living in the Spirit entails making the conscious decision to obey His commands while persistently denying our fleshly desires. Praise, happiness, and enjoyment in God's presence are hallmarks of a Spirit enriched existence. Along with the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit is an essential cog in the wheel of God's work in creation, redemption, regeneration, and sanctification. In its mission, it seeks to help people confess their sins, restore and reassure Christians, equip them to live holy lives, and fill their surrendered hearts with God's power and presence.
Romans 8:13–14 (AMP)
“For if you are living according to the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually putting to death the sinful deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God."
