A piercing yet hopeful journey through the fractures of the human soul—personal, communal, and cosmic. With the precision of a biblical scholar and the heart of a priest Fr. Walter unveils how ancient wounds echo in today’s brokenness, and how grace, dialogue, and courageous love become the quiet architects of restoration.

Step into a sanctuary where silence is not absence but a deeper presence, where the ancient summons of the Shema awakens the soul to listen with reverence, and where the anguished cry of Job gives voice to the hidden fractures of grief, injustice, and unspoken pain. This is not a book of easy comfort—it is a courageous descent into the raw terrain of human woundedness, where every scar is named, honoured, and bathed in the slow, fierce light of grace.

In these pages brokenness is not the end but the threshold; lament becomes prayer, silence becomes song, and the Spirit weaves the wounded into witnesses of resurrection. Rooted in Scripture, shaped by prayer, and alive with the pulse of the Trinity, this collection meets you in the dark, walks beside you through the night, and leads you gently into dawn.

For the weary, the wondering, the wounded—this is your companion. For the healer, the seeker, the hope-bearer—this is your map. A testament that every wound, when met by mercy, becomes a window to God.
